How do you feel, as a homosexual or lesbian individual, that same-sex marriage has been legalized in New York?
Bless my soul. When we found out that gay marriage will be legally recognized in the state of New York, my grandbaby was so happy he was in TEARS. He's a 20 year old homosexual and this new change meant a lot to him. I am so proud of my grandson. God don't make no mistakes. He done blessed me with a gay grandchild(for what reason, I don't know) but I'm proud nonetheless. My grandson has a boyfriend. Although he's not discussing any wedding plans right now, he's happy to know that he CAN if he WANTED to. Even as a sixty-year old heterosexual, God-fearing woman, it does my heart joy to see my grandson and the LGBT community he belongs to be granted their rights. I certainly recognize the wonders of the Lord, although these damn homophobic folks choose to resent this new right granted to homosexuals. May the good Lord have mercy on their prejudiced souls. In any case, I just wanted to extend my congratulations to you(the LGBT community) for such a wonderful victory. God bless you all and I'm sincerely happy for you. How does this new law make you feel?
