CAN NERVOUSNESS MAKE YOU FAIL A LIE DETECTOR TEST?

I have to take a lie detector test to get a job and no i am not like those fools who think they can lie and beat the lie detector test, i am going to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth but i am so nervous and i cant help but be nervous i am so scared that this nervousness id gonna make me fail. I am also wondering can any other emotion like fear or embarrassment make you fail because i have a feeling those feelings are going to evade me on that day. Help please! thanks in advance
