I am a 21 year old man and just recently, I was involved in a police chase. While riding my motorcycle I was clocked by a police officer at 97mph. When I saw him behind me on the freeway, I panicked and drove faster. I panicked because my license was suspended do to missing a payment of my restitution. I had two driving without a license after it was suspended, two trucks taken from me and I was scared to lose another vehicle. I have a job with a school district and I am a full time student in a criminal justice program. I also have a girlfriend who I had planned on asking to marry me, although I am not exactly sure when. I took him two exits, then turned around and two exits back. I started pulling off the freeway and my engine blew, causing smoke and fire to my motorcycle. I was then very cooperative and the CHP officer even allowed me to sit in the front seat. I was in jail from 5-28-2011 until 6-2-2011. I was released on bail. My bail was $50,000 so ten percent at $5,000. I am being put up for Felony of evading the police and misdemeanor of reckless driving. When I spoke to my public defender, he told me that they have an offer for 1 year in county. He told me that he would be able to reduce that to 6 months in county or we can take it to trial and it can possibly be dismissed or I can spend time in a state prison. I was caught on camera running from the police but I have been told that even if it does go to trial I can get the time at least reduced. What are my best options at this point? I want to hire a defense attorney but I am unsure if that will end up being a waste of money or would it ultimately benefit me? Also, what can i do to ensure they are persuaded that I am trying my best to turn my ways around. I have no priors, and this is my first major offense. I will do community service, take driving classes, continue in school, as well as get another job to bring my financial situation to a better place. I live in pennsylvania. I went to my friends house to have a couple of drinks. I am 21, but the 4 other people there were 19-20. Keep in mind that they had previously obtained the alcohol from some source, not through me. My buddy ran down the street to the convenient store and got stopped by the police, got charged with DUI etc. The cops came to the house, and I left out the back door. They knew i was there because my car was there, and they had it towed. I was told I would be recieving charges of some sort. I explained to the officer that I am trying to work my way through college and stay out of trouble( i previously had an underage dui about 2 years back ). I told him that was terrified of the possibility that i would get charged for supplying alcohol to minors, and he said he would discuss the story with his chief and see what he could do for me. Im just curious as to what i may be charged with or if there is any way to get out of the charges because i technically wasnt evading or resisting arrest because number one, i didnt do anything arrest-worthy, and two, i was never seen by a cop or told by a cop to freeze or whatever.

My LMP was May 23 and my cycles range from 28(rare)-37(rare) days long with most of my cycles being about 33-35 days. My hubby and I did our little baby dance every day to every other during the week of June 6th-14th which should have been prime ovulating time. We were on vacation and in the ocean/pool every day all day so I didn't notice any stretchy/sticky cm but I do get it every single month! I do not temp. but I did use ovulation sticks and would get two lines but the test was never as dark as the control so either I missed my surge, my urine was too dilute or I didn't ovulate(which I doubt). I forget the exact date but around the 17th of this month I felt a sharp pinch on my right side and I was thinking ovulation or implantation. I took another OPK and got two lines again with the test still lighter than the control. Since then I have had cramping(especially on right side), alternating diarrhea and constipation, tiredness, increased urination, and still no period but the real kicker is my boob KILL! My boobs never hurt before my period but they kill on the sides, nipple is itchy and they feel fuller. Today is day 36 and still no period. I took a first response early pregnancy test this evening and it was negative. I will re-test in a couple days which feels like forever. I honestly feel pregnant. I have occasional bouts of some scant nauseous feeling but it never stays. Anyone else test negative with the early tests and still end up pregnant? what do you think? Horse size vs rider size?

So, talking more to the pony club mom who is coming to look at my mare - turns out she's not all that interested because she (horse) is "only" 15.3 hh, which is "much too small" for her 13 year old daughter who is "tall for her age"(is this kid the Jolly Green Giant?). About a week ago, I was doing push ups to prepare for basic training in January when i noticed there was a pain in my right wrist every time I put weight on it. I let off for a few days, and it seems to have gotten about 50% better... but now my left wrist is hurting too. They both have a slight burn on the outside of my hand. My left hand doesn't hurt from weight, it just slightly aches and slightly burns. My right hand still hurts a little when I put my weight on it, and has the same weird burn or tingle on the top of my hand and wrist. I have a home blood pressure monitor, Omron. In March/April it was very high due to excessive drinking. As high as 160/90. Im only 19 years old by the way, just turned 19 in March. But anyway, since ive became pregnant (NOT A RANDOM DRUNKEN PREGNANCY BY THE WAY!; im in a long term relationship with a wonderful man) and stopped drinking my blood pressure has been usually in the range of 123/89 to 110/60. A lot of my friends and I are very curious about this. So I am 16, I had this high kiddy voice till about 14, then my voice really dropped. Now I can hit the really low notes, but the high ones do not feel as comfortable. My voice has a very deep undertone, but still sounds like a kid (that's the best way to describe it). Most of my friends that are my age have this same problem as well. Now I have an 18 year old friend who sings, and is done with puberty, and has a great range. Also, many of the bands I listen have singers that are about 20, such as a day to remember, blink 182, and four year strong. I know that NOW these signers are older, but plenty of the recordings and live videos i listen to they were in their early 20's, and could sing quite high. So what I am wondering is, after puberty, will my voice settle, and 'll regain the easier upper register i used to have. I know it wont be like my kiddie voice, but at least a better range again???

That's funny Anna. I hate to come across as some forward weirdo. But I am an American guy and have always had this thing for european girls. The funny part is that I am a musician, don't follow popular thinking too much, but have an IQ of 162. Having intellectual conversations is what I do best. I have a Master's in Telecommunications, love philosophy, but without the extremely boring stereotype. Obviously you are a special girl. Its just too bad you are taken.

Why am I gaining weight if I started exercising and I eat within the calorie range for my age?

I'm trying to lose fat and I started exercising but I just seem to be gaining weight and my stomach looks a bit bigger. I eat about 1700 calories and burn 250 through exercise, any reason why i'm gaining weight? By the way i'm 15, 5 feet 8.5 inches, 125 pounds, not that much muscle and some fat spreaded on my body.

I had a similar(ish) problem when I had to tell my somewhat conservative parents that my boyfriend was bisexual, and very obviously so. There's no easy way to do it, just spit it out to them. Most likely they won't react as well you'd wish, they'll try to make him change his diet and they might try to convince you he's not good enough for you on account of his weight, finally they'll just do a lot of teasing. Just stick to your guns. He sounds like a good guy. He stuck by you, now you stick by him :)

Is prejudice learned or innate?

I admittedly have prejudices that I hold as I believe most do. However, even though I hold these prejudices I couldn't tell you why I have some of them. An example of one of the prejudices I previously had was of a coworker. When I first met this coworker he had a very strong southern accent and used words like "y"all" and even said "over yonder" in our first meeting. I immediately made a judgment regarding this persons intelligence, I kept thinking " what in idiot" in my head. After working with him for a little while I found very quickly this simply was not the case, he is in fact one of the most intelligent people I have ever met. What causes prejudice in my mind and the mind of others. Are people really inherently ignorant of what they don't understand or haven't been exposed to or while growing up are these things learned from our peers?

Why are some dogs scared of darker people?

Sometimes pets, especially dogs, can be picky. I had a dog and she greatly disliked men. I walked her somewhat often and whenever a man would pass us jogging or whatever she would cower and snarl. Same when I took her to the vet, and it wasn't pretty. She did, however, have a past of abuse with her old owner, which was a man. Your dog may have not been around dark-skinned people that often and think that it is unnatural to have skin that dark. He might think they look odd, but he should get over it soon, though. If you continue to take him on walks and he is around them constantly, he will most likely get used to them.

Okay, so i have a friend who's a lyric baritone, his voice ranges from A2-B4 in normal voice, with vocal fry he reaches down to an E-flat (barely audible). His tessitura(comforst zone lies within Eb3-Eb4). His falsetto goes up to a D6, and he can sing comfortably in his falsetto up to a G5. He wants to know if the same principals used to classify female voices can be used to classify falsetto countertenors. Turn Win 7 laptop into a wireless hotspot?

i have been trying all software that deal with internet sharing via wireless adapter, ranging from Connectify, VirtualAP, Dell Laptop to Hotspot Converter and some plenty more but I still fail to get the effect i need. am using Dell Latitude D63o with Win 7 Ultimate SP1 installed, for my internet am using a Huawei E220 3G Modem provided by Zain (now Airtel) with unlimited access. When I tried using Connectify, it kept on conflicting with the modem drivers, the remaining software don't seem to find my internet connection, I only get a '' on the internet connection display box so i cant share a connection through any of the remaining software. using Windows 7 Adhoc networking is also so inconvenient because whenever i protect my connection with a password, other computers fail to establish full connectivity ( i only manage to share internet connection when the connection is insecure). Please help in finding a software to turn my windows 7 laptop into a wireless hotspot hosting an encrypted connection and capabilities for other computers to establish full connectivity.

Well, your chapters don't need chapter names. But if you really want chapter names (and you don't want to give away the story) you need to be more creative. What else happens in each chapter that you can name the chapter after? For instance, what is the main character evading in the first chapter? Name it after that. Instead of "Captive" for the second chapter, name it after the lair that she's hidden in. You can name chapter names after a thing (such as an artifact, etc.), people, places, etc. Hope this helps some.

Why do I react so strangely in common dreams?

I know that dreaming of somebody trying to kill you and also dreaming of being out in public without clothes are common. However, when I try to look up the meaning online, I can never find an answer that seems to apply to me because the way I react in these dreams is different than what the interpreters assume. In my dreams where somebody is trying to kill me, I am usually frightened, yes, but mostly I have a lot of fun trying to outsmart and evade my pursuer. I come up with elaborate plans that allow me to escape and I end up enjoying it. In my "naked in public" dreams I am usually freaked out for a split second, until I realize that everyone around me either doesn't notice, or doesn't care. Then I pretty much think "awesome! I can go around naked!" And go about like that for the rest of the dream...
